At the national competition in Thermal, Nicky Galligan produced by far the best clear round in the 1.40m against the clock class. In this Open Jumper class, the Irish rider achieved this victory aboard EAMES MZ (VAN GOGH x Faldo, breeder M. Zomer), after being almost five (!) seconds faster than the rest. Eames MZ was ridden by Michel Priemis in the Netherlands as a youngster.
