01 10 2018
The third edition of showjumping and eventing horses auction - Baborówko Horse Sale Show - has ended yesterday with a great result. 16 horses, mostly polish-bred, were presented at the auction.
10 of the 16 horses that were presented have found their new owners, and many of them have been bought by foreign athletes.
"As organisers, we are very proud that the horses presented at the auction have ended up being bought by world-class competitors, including the team Olympics gold medalist Andreas Dibowski, who has placed the winning bid on Chiquita, the excellent German eventer Elmar Lesch, who will be bringing home his new horse Lotos, and representing Finland- Sanna Siltakorpi and Elmo Jankari, who have won the bid on Izolacja M xx", says Henryk Święcicki jr., the director of the show. "The great result of the auction is a huge chance to promote polish-bred horses worldwide, which is the idea behind Baborówko Horse Sale Show. We hope that initiatives such as this one will help develop the export of polish-bred horses, which we’ll be able to later admire competing with world-class athletes at international arenas."
This year’s auction is also a success for Dawid Rakoczy, who has presented four horses at the show, all of which have found new owners yesterday evening.
Baborówko Horse Sale Show offers assistance both for the buyers and sellers. Professional horse training was available for the owners, under the coordination of Paweł Warszawski and his team of riders. Several owners have taken that opportunity, and the horses were being prepared for the auction in Baborówko. All horses have also undergone intensive veterinary examinations in Equi Vet Service - dr Maciej Przewoźny.
