First ESI Online Foal Auction a Great Success

04 08 2020

Like no other auction house, Henrik Klatte and Otto Vaske managed to provide a selection of 26 foals with world-renowned sires for their first online foal auction. An exclusive collection that delighted many foreign fans. Two-thirds of all foals that generated an average price of more than 9.000 Euros (without any significant exceptions) found their new homes abroad.
After the resounding success of ESI “Cloud Seven”, Otto Vaske and Henrik Klatte are immensely satisfied with the equally positive outcome of their first ESI Online Foal Auction, which despite the difficult times was no less successful than traditional live auctions.
„10 foals over 10.000 Euros – that’s fantastic!”, say the thrilled auctioneers, who extend heartfelt thanks to their breeders and customers for the trust they have placed in them.
As standing still is the fastest way to move backwards, the next online auctions are already being lined up: at the end of August 25 further hand-picked foals will go under the hammer at the second edition of the ESI Online Foal Auction, as well as the second edition of ESI “Cloud Seven”, which will go online soon.
The top price Calimero, a son of Cornet Obolensky x Goldfever II, was sold to a jumping stable in Spain for 16.000 Euros.
