The ESI Elite Foal Auction 2024 presents a first-class selection of foals bred specifically for show jumping. This year's collection includes 49 outstanding foals that will be auctioned off at Zuchthof Klatte in Lastrup during the CSI Klein Roscharden on 30 August 2024. The ESI Auction is an important event for breeders, riders and equestrian sport enthusiasts who are looking for promising young talents for show jumping.

Auction manager Henrik Klatte has searched all over Europe for the best young talents. The result of this search is a selection of foals with international pedigrees and exceptional quality. The list of those who have arrived in national and international show jumping sport is long. A current example is Tangassini under the saddle of Ashlee Bond, who comes from the same dam line as Chardesso (catalogue no. 25), a descendant of Chardonnay x Verdi.  Further references that emphasise the high quality density of the ESI auctions are Voltanos, internationally successful up to 1.60m with the US-Amazonian Lauren Tyree, Lezaro under Mclain Ward, Condoctro under Tobias Meyer and Armik under Brian Cournane.

Numerous licensed stallions and current top young horses were discovered at the ESI auctions, such as Sherlock van't Huka with Pico Hannöver, who can boast serial victories in tests for young show jumpers with top scores of up to 9.0. Another highlight is the main premium winner of the 2024 Oldenburg licensing, Coeur Rouge by Conthargos x Casall, who enriches this year's auction lot with some of his offspring, including Converse (catalogue no. 36) out of a dam by Chin Chin x Voltaire, who was the winning foal at the foal championships in Klein Roscharden.

An absolute rarity is Honey Pott GA (catalogue no. 5), a filly by Carthago Z x Balou Du Rouet x Argentinus out of one of the best Oldenburg dam lines. Another dream foal is Paris vd Verbindingshoeve (catalogue no. 19) by Pegase van't Ruytershof x Kannan, who comes from the same dam as the much-acclaimed reserve winner of the 2024 OS licensing, United Hearts by Uricas vd Kattevennen x Kannan.

The Elite foal collection includes offspring of renowned show jumping stallions and the best show jumper sires in the world! The foals are by sires such as Armison, Agalord, Cero Blue TN, Charthago Blue, Comme il Faut, Contagio, Cornet Obolensky, Diamant de Semilly, Eldorado vd Zeshoek, Ermitage Kalone, Emerald vh Ruytershof, Heartbreaker, Jaguar vd Berghoeve, Uricas vd Kattevennen, Verdi, Zirocco Blue and many more! The dam lines of this foal collection are in no way inferior to the high-calibre sires in terms of performance and hereditary power. These lines have already produced numerous successful horses that have been successful in international show jumping up to a height of 1.60 metres.

The presentation of the foals will take place on Friday 30 August 2023 at around 12:00 noon in the CSI Outdoor Arena before the auction begins at around 7:00 pm.
